About the AI Cave Map Generator
Caves are where a lot of adventures go underground, and they are hard to draw well. Natural rock has no straight lines, the interesting parts are the water, the drops and the light sources, and a stock cave map almost never has the chasm or the goblin warren your encounter needs.
The Text to Tabletop AI cave map generator turns a description into a finished cavern. Name the features that matter to the fight (a stream to cross, a ledge to hold, a tunnel the enemies come out of, a pool that hides something) and the generator paints them into a top-down map at battle scale.
Every map is locked to a straight-down view with no baked-in grid, so it lines up with the grid in your virtual tabletop. If one part of the cavern is not right, select that area and regenerate only that part while the rest of the map stays as it is.

Ancient Stone Dungeon
Free download and prompt
"A multi-room underground dungeon carved from dark grey stone. A long central corridor connects four chambers of varying sizes. One room has a collapsed ceiling with rubble on the floor. Another has a shallow pool of water glowing faintly blue. Iron doors and archways connect the rooms. Scattered bones and broken furniture. Torches in wall sconces provide dim orange light. Top-down, grid-aligned, dungeon map style."

Frozen Mountain Pass
Free download and prompt
"A treacherous mountain pass in heavy winter. The narrow path winds between jagged snow-covered peaks. Ice patches and deep snowdrifts partially block the trail. A frozen waterfall clings to one cliff face. A small stone shelter or shrine sits near a switchback. Wind-blown snow obscures the edges. Cold blue and white color palette. Top-down, grid-aligned, battle map style."

Shipwreck Coastal Cave
Free download and prompt
"A rocky coastal cave where a wrecked wooden ship has run aground. The hull is broken open, with debris and cargo crates scattered across the wet cave floor. Shallow tidal pools reflect the dim light entering from the cave mouth. Stalactites hang from the ceiling. Ropes and torn sails drape across the wreckage. The ocean is visible through the wide cave entrance. Top-down, grid-aligned, battle map style."

Volcanic Lair Entrance
Free download and prompt
"The entrance to a lair built into the side of an active volcano. Rivers of glowing orange lava flow through channels carved into dark volcanic rock. A narrow stone bridge crosses a lava stream leading to a massive carved stone doorway. Steam vents and cracks in the ground glow with heat. Obsidian pillars flank the entrance. Charred bones and scorched earth surround the area. Red and orange lighting from below. Top-down, grid-aligned, battle map style."

- Fungal caverns: bioluminescent mushrooms, spore clouds and soft ground for underdark encounters
- Sea caves: tidal pools, a hidden smugglers' landing and a tunnel that floods at high tide

- Ice caves: frozen waterfalls, slippery floors and a beast's den at the back of the glacier
- Collapsed mines: cave-ins, abandoned carts and old timber supports that might not hold
